With side-by-side brass turn-off cannon barrels numbered 3 and 4, border engraved brass action finely decorated with rococo ornament, signed on a ribbon on the right side, and with engraved steel thumbpiece to the cut-off on the left side, engraved sliding trigger-guard safety-catch, swelling figured walnut butt finely inlaid with shells and scrollwork in silver wire (minor defects) heightened with silver dots, vacant silver escutcheon, and foliate silver butt-cap, Tower private proof marks, silver maker's mark of Charles Freeth
