With rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrels, patent breeches each with two brass lines, brass-lined touch-holes, foliate engraved tangs incorporating the back-sights, signed engraved flat bevelled locks each with 'French' cock, stepped tail, safety-catch, roller, and rainproof pan, figured walnut full stocks, engraved iron mounts including trigger-guards each with pineapple finial, chequered butts, silver escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and original horn-tipped ramrods each with worm: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with some accesories, the exterior with brass escutcheon engraved 'J. Crawford', Birmingham proof marks
