A Composite Broadsword
Predominantly late 15th/early 16th Century
The tapering double-edged blade of flattened hollow diamond section with narrow ricasso, each face of the forte struck twice with a copper-inlaid mark, 'T' under a dagger, the hilt comprising slender arched quillons with bulbouus fluted tips and large semi-circular side-ring, fluted plummet-shaped pommel struck with three marks, including a number, and wire-bound leather-covered wooden grip

The marks on the pommel suggest that it has been used as a weight
