the kings and bishops with articulated arms, the kings modelled as Ahasverus holding sabres, the queens as Esther, holding fans (one lacking), knights as horses heads, rooks as turrets, pawns as figures with staffs, the undersides stamped MADE IN ISRAEL, TEPPICH, and Judaic script, king -- 2½in. (6.3cm) high, pawn -- 1¼in. (3.2cm) high; and an Israeli polychrome plaster set, the kings featured as David, shown holding a mace and scroll
