with hinged domed cover, inlaid in mother-of-pearl, tortoiseshell and bone with floral and geometric patterns in bands, on shaped bracket feet, the interior plush lined with hinged comparment, lobed oval bronze keyhole plate and key -- 13½in. (34.3cm) wide, 18th Century, (minor losses, old wear).
