A large Chinese four fold screen
each leaf containing four panels of circular, quatrefoil and fan shaped blue and white porcelain plaques, variously depicting ladies and dignitaries in fenced gardens and on terraces before pavilions and warriors in river landscapes, all on reticulated carved wooden grounds decorated with trailing and entwined foliage -- each leaf 73½in. (186.6cm.) x 18½in. (47cm.), (one plaque with small area of restoration, age cracks and some old wear.)
