A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE DOUBLE-GOURD EWER AND COVER

Well hollowed and of somewhat flattened double-gourd shape, with a C-scroll handle to one side opposite the curved, upright spout joined to the upper body by a 'bead', the domed cover with loop finial, the semi-translucent stone of even pale celadon tone with some added russet colouring--7 1/4in. (18.3cm.) high
