Finely enamelled around the oviform body in soft attractive enamels with a continuous scene of 'The Hundred Boys' engaged in various playful pursuits including flying a kite, picking flowers, berries and lingzhi, and carrying a vase of flowers or dangling auspicious emblems, all set against a verdant landscape of pine growing before blue rockwork divided by river estuaries, framed by cloud collar borders enriched with floral sgraffiato ruby ground, rims gilt, the base and interior turquoise glazed (rim hairline)
