AN ART DECO GOLD, LACQUER AND MOTHER-OF-PEARL 'CHINOISERIE' MIRROR, BY CARTIER
Designed as a hinged screen, fitted with a pair of Chinese black lacquer panels inlaid with tinted mother-of-pearl figures of oriental scholars and attendants amidst picturesque landscapes, attached by side hinges to a gold and black enamel frame, panels swing open and reverse to mirrors, circa 1930, 14.9 x 6.2 cm.
