A GOLD-SPECKLED TRANSPARENT GREEN AND RED OVERLAY OPAQUE TURQUOISE GLASS BOTTLE
1770-1850

Of bulbous shape, carved through the predominantly pea-green overlay with a single gourd branch falling from the shoulder at one side and meandering all the way around the body with numerous pendant gourds, leafy foliage, tendrils and small flowerheads, amidst this foliage and cleverly carved from small areas of red glass are five flying bats, the oval foot ring and a band at the neck cut from the green overlay
