Champleve enamelling of this type is rare. A gold-ground champleve enamelled altar garniture was included in the Special Exhibition in Kaohsiung City, Great National Treasures of China, Catalogue, nos.56-58, where comparable bowls with a slightly different finish are included, nos.52-55.
