A PAIR OF WOOL CREWELWORK PANELS
Probably 18th Century, Attached to Table Cloths
Each in blues, greens, yellows and browns of trailing branches and leaves issuing from a central mound on an ivory ground, mounted onto an ivory table-cloth, with yellow ribbed silk swagged over-corner with green-silk tassles, on a modern metal table stand, restorations to the backing material
The panels each: 13 in. (33 cm.) x 79 in. (201 cm.);
Overall approximately: 29 in. (73.5 cm.) diam.; 29½ in. (75 cm.) high (2)
