Banded overall in boxwood and inlaid with an ebony line, the hinged top above a waved frieze, with gateleg action, on stop-fluted square tapering legs, headed by oval patera, on block feet, inscribed in chalk to the underside '152/9223', the top slightly warped and fractionally repositioned, the back gateleg previously but not originally with a supporting block to the reverse
