The tapestry mid-18th Century
Woven in wools and silks, one depicting a wolf in a wooded landscape with buildings in the distance, the other with a scene from Aesop's Fables of a toad talking to a cow in a river landscape, both with a foliate border, with later green and yellow tasseled fringe and green silk-damask reverse, restorations, one silk reverse distressed
One cushion: 20 in. x 19 in. (51 cm. x 48.5 cm.)
The other: 20 in. x 21 in. (51 cm. x 53.5 cm.) (2)
