Inlaid overall with lines, the hinged and sliding ratcheted square top with removable book-stop, above a backgammon board, flanked on each side by demi-lune hinged wells with pierced galleries, above a sliding chessboard and a yellow pleated-silk work-basket, on lyre-end supports joined by a ring-turned baluster stretcher, on square tapering downswept legs, brass paw caps and castors, the hinged wells previously fitted, restorations
