Inlaid overall with ebonised and ebony lines, the moulded rectangular cavetto cornice above a pair of Gothic-glazed doors, enclosing a part cream watered-silk lined interior with two later adjustable shelves, the lower section with a fitted mahogany-lined frieze drawer inlaid with oval lozenges and enclosing nine variously-sized small drawers and six pigeon-holes, above three long part-blue paper-lined graduated drawers, with remains of depository label for 'William Cowlin & Son Clifton', restorations, the cornice probably replaced
