cover HB-LB vertical strip of five (HB re-entry) and JC (enlarged check letter) used together on refolded entire from Denbigh to Whitchurch dated 1 November 1840, cancelled by slightly smudged red Crosses, the adhesives with margins mostly all round (three stamps just touched or clipped but the strip enormous at left and showing portions of five adjoining stamps); one stamp with wrinkle and the cover with some faults, otherwise fine and a rare multiple used on cover.
