Boat-shaped on four bifurcated scrolling foliate feet, the body cast with openwork scrolling foliage and flowers and with similar border and handles, the shallow boat-shaped liner with acanthus leaf handles and rim cast and chased as a foliate branch, the centre engraved with an Egyptian symbol and winged god, marked on base and liner and with French export mark for 1840-1878
