The arms are those of Charles-Guillaume Jean-Baptiste-Louis de Pechpeyrou-Comminges, comte de Guitaut, marquis d'Epoisse (1759-1835) and Charlotte-Victoire du Champ d'Assaut, who married in 1786.

Slightly tapering two-colour gold étui-à-cire of oval section, both cover and base with four panels of engine-turning within burnished borders divided by husks, the borders chased with bands of stylized acanthus, the slightly domed top chased with a swirling floral rosette, the matrix engraved with an alliage coat-of-arms
