A RUBY AND DIAMOND TORSADE NECKLACE, BY ANDREA MOLINARI
Designed as a twenty-two and twenty-three graduated ruby bead strand torsade to the cabochon ruby cluster flowerhead shoulders with pierced pavé-set diamond petals and detail, 51.0 cm. (cabochon clusters detach to be worn as earclips, also accompanied by clip fittings for flowerheads to be worn as brooches)
With jeweller's mark for Andrea Molinari
With certificate 31678 dated 19/3/1998 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that based on a random test of the rubies, the majority are of Burmese origin and show indications of thermal treatment and artificial glassy fillings
