In the George II manner, vase-shaped and on spreading circular foot, with two leaf-capped scroll handles, and detachable domed cover with baluster finial, the foot embossed with tied-husk border, the body applied with a calyx of foliate strapwork beneath a moulded rib, the cover similarly embossed and applied; with turned wood plinth, mounted with plaque engraved 'The Ovaltine Cup'
