maker's marks of Ferguson & MacBean, Inverness, circa 1890
Each formed as a deer's hoof with silver base and scroll supports, the inkwell with hinged domed cover and glass liner, the vesta holder with plain silver bowl

marked on silver plated under hoof and on silver tops (2)
