maker's mark of Coline Allan, Aberdeen, circa 1750
Shaped circular on four hoof feet, with indented and fluted border, engraved with crest and motto, engraved to reverse with contemporary initials 'J E, J A, G' and with original scratch weight '16 = 8'

marked under base, two mark: CA; ABD
