The circular white enamelled dial with Arabic numerals and inner calendar ring, within a drum case surmounted by a later white biscuit figure of a warrior incised F.G. to the underside, suspended between two obelisks with stiff-leaf borders and ball finials and mounted with lion's masks, on square bases mounted with military trophies, on a rectangular platform mounted with pierced interlaced strapwork, on reeded circular feet and on a later plinth, the movement with countwheel strike on bell and silk-suspended sunburst pendulum
