the booklet, 1950, sixteen pages with handcoloured illustrations after Karel Appel and texts by Hugo Claus, on cream wove paper, signed in pen and black ink by artist and author, numbered 101 (there were 200 copies with handcolouring), published in the series Handreeks, Cobra-bibliotheek, no. 1, Paris, 1950, loose in the original titled handcoloured paper covers, one page with two tiny handling nicks, very soft creasing along the lower edges, the covers at the lower spine a bit worn, otherwise in very good condition
