The arched neck curling towards a stylised phoenix-head hook, terminating at the end of the slender curved shaft in a dragon-head, the slightly raised central section carved with a thunder- and scale- pattern between herring-bone and cross-hatched incisions, with a circular button on the underside (minute restoration)
