Brown and cream pained wood, composed of four tapering rectangular sections held together with screws and dove-tail joins, with seven screws on the seat and six on the base, with solid triangular section wooden strengthening wedges set in the acute angles, with seven dove-tail joins visible where back and seat join, rectangular carrying groove on the back, metal strip screwed to the base
