Maker's mark of Johann Henrich Carstens, Amsterdam, 1845
Baluster-shaped, on shaped rectangular foot, the body fluted into panels and with spread-shaped rim with engraved scrolls and rocailles, the detachable cover with detachable pear finial, scroll wood handle and curved leaf-capped spout, the stand on four scroll and paw feet with shaped rectangular rim with engraved scrolls and foliage, plain burner, on a shaped rectangular black wooden plaque
