Maker's mark of Augustinus de Gilde, Amsterdam, 1804, also struck with retailer's mark of Diemont
Rectangular, the hinged cover engraved with a portrait and inscription "Maarten Harperszoon Tromp" in his glory of triumph at sea and the base with engraved sea battle with the inscription "Seeslagh by Duyns 21 oktober 1639"
