Comprising the upper quadrant of an expanded version of a 17th Century Anatolian prayer rug, the shaded brick-red field with a part cusped mihrab arch containing scrolling arabesques on a blue ground, a part upper cross-panel of arrowheads issuing floral sprays above, two sides with an ivory border of floral sprays around cusped similar stepped tan, blue and pale rose cartouches between golden-yellow floral meander and feathery leaf stripes, plain outer brick-red stripe, slight even wear
