The ivory field with very delicate tendrils issuing bold palmettes, floral sprays and serrated leaves below a decorative calligraphic panel, the cusped ice-blue mihrab arch with scrolling lemon-yellow arabesques overlaying similar raspberry-red arabesques, in a broad indigo border of meandering arabesques overlaying flowering vine between very narrow plain stripes, multicoloured silk warp, corroded black and some tones of purple, very slight loss at each end, very small repairs
