EAST CAUCASUS, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY
The shaded brick-red field with diagonal rows of large concentric hooked lozenges and blue panels containing angular motifs each supported on a stem with paired radiating serrated leaves mostly within lozenge panels formed of hooked vine and flanked by minor floral motifs, in an ivory border of polychrome serrated floral panels divided by X-motif panels between light blue panelled flowerhead and minor mill-pattern stripes, outer running dog stripe, braided ends, minimal repair and repiling
