In the Orientalist Style, Last quarter 19th Century
Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of three-branch candelabra; the mantel clock decorated overall with oriental motifs, the dial with Arabic numeral plaquettes, the twin-train movement striking on a gong, above a female figure appearing from a curtained structure, flanked to each side by a crescent moon above a domed recess; each candelabra with a male figure beside an ostrich, the bird supporting a central stem issuing three shaped branches, the branches terminating in a leaf-cast nozzle, on a shaped rectangular base
