In the Louis XV Style, Late 19th Century
Of serpentine shape, the top centred by an adjustable leather-covered reading and writing slope, flanked to each side by a hinged top centred by an oval marquetry panel depicting a courting couple, opening to reveal a pink silk-lined interior, one side with ormolu inkwell, with parquetry sides, on slender shaped tapering legs and foliate-cast ormolu sabots
