Brooklands - The Founders Gold Cup 1931; A fine 9-carat gold lidded trophy cup awarded to the entrant of the winning car driven by William Craig; of Grecian style, with fluted and hand-engraved patterning and ornamental handles to sides, having engraved panel to front inscribed "Driven on the 6th April 1931 by W.Y. Craig - The Race for Brookland's Founders' Gold Cup - Won by Mr Ian S. Pollock"; hallmarked and stamped GBS; engraved and inscribed on reverse face with "BARC" in entwined initial letters and "Brooklands" to scroll beneath; mounted upon turned rosewood base.
