The frosted gilt bar movement jewelled to the third with bimetallic balance and counterpoised lever escapement, wolf-tooth winding, the matt gilt chapter ring with Arabic numerals, engine-turned centrefield, blued steel decorative hands, in heavily cast gold openface case depicting George and the Dragon to the reverse with the inscription S. Georgius equitum patronus, the inside of the back cover depicting St. Christopher in a storm tossed sailing ship with the inscription In tempestate securitas, the hinged cuvette inscribed Gondolo & Labouriau Rio de Janeiro, with a length of gold chain and a gold medallion depicting similar scenes to the pocketwatch, with maker's extract from the archives, case, dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered
