A set of four George II silver candlesticks
maker's mark of Henry Dutton, London, 1756, one nozzle with maker's mark of William Fountain, London, 1808
Each on spreading square bases chased with floral swags, acanthus leaves and egg-and-dart border, with fluted Corinthian column stem and socket and detachable shaped square nozzle, the bases engraved with a coat-of-arms within rococo cartouche and later with a crest within the Garter motto and with Marquess' coronet above, marked on bases and nozzles, each numbered and engraved with scratch weight '1 19=5½, 2 20=1, 3 19=15½, 4 19=10'
