Each modelled seated looking to the right and left with a ferocious expression, jaws wide agape revealing fangs and tongue, the forehead with the character wang framed with a mane in tight curls, adorned with a tasselled collar around the neck, one seated beside a ribboned ball and the other beside a lion cub, the rectangular base with shaped panels enclosing precious objects and scholars' utensils reserved on a diaper ground alternating with flowering peony and insects, some restoration
