Decorated in iron-red and gilt on underglaze blue, the vase with three large shaped panels depicting flowers over fences and a view of a lake among flowers, the shoulder with irregular bands alternatly filled with pine and birds on a stream, the cover similarly decorated with a large knop finial in the form of a flaming sacred pearl, the cover with a crack; and a Samson Imari vase and cover en suite, restoration to rim
