A Kakiemon foliate rimmed dish
Late 17th Century
Decorated in iron-red, green, blue, yellow and black enamels, and gilt, with various flowers and foliage and a stork standing, looking towards another flying above, beneath the chocolate rim a band of scrolling foliage and flowerheads, slight rubbing and two rim chips
8¾in. (22.2cm.) diam.

Lot Essay
