signed and dated on the backing card 'Mrs. Barou St. Albans St- Pall Mall No. 33.'
oval, 36 in. (81 mm.) high, gilt-metal mount within silver-gilt frame with split-pearl border, the reverse with seed pearls, locks of hair and gold wire on opaque glass within blue glass surround and engraved border
