The needlework 18th Century
Woven in wools, silks and with a silver thread background, of rectangular form with a central strapwork cartouche depicting a hunting scene with three figures, in a landscape with a castle in the distance, surrounded by a scrolling foliage and strapwork border, with a later green, yellow and blue tasseled fringe, the reverse with yellow foliate damask, restorations
