The later cartouche-shaped central plate in a border with a scene of three chinese figures seated in an extensive river landscape flanked on each side by a flowering tree rising to the sides and top of the central plate, in a modern giltwood frame, the border with three cracks

Lot Essay

A cartouche-shaped reverse-painted mirror picture, obviously taken from the same printed source, was sold anonymously, Sotheby's Monaco, 16 July 1990, lot 840.
