A Staffordshire white saltglaze baluster hot-milk jug and cover
Circa 1760
With loop handle and sparrowbeak spout, standing on three lion's paw and scallop-moulded feet, the lower part incised with a diamond pattern, the upper part applied with stylised sprigging of scrolling flowers and foliage, the flattened domed cover with an onion finial, similarly applied with sprigs and with an incised border (slight firing cracks around base of handle and to lower part of jug)
