Painted with St. Peter's denial of Christ, with Christ flanked by St. Peter and a Roman guard and a cockerel perched in the branches of a nearby tree, the foreground inscribed LUC:22:VS:34:, within a scroll-moulded border divided by shells, pierced for hanging (some flaking to glaze at extremities, chip to reverse at 1 o'clock)
