A Capodimonte group of a gallant and companion
The porcelain circa 1755, perhaps decorated at Buen Retiro
Modelled by Giuseppe Gricci, he in a puce coat, a yellow red-striped shirt and purple breeches, seated on rockwork, his companion standing at his side in a white hat, pink-patterned bodice and a long blue and red-striped skirt, holding a puppy in a black apron in her arms (chip to back of his coat and her hat, most of his left foot and her left foot restored replacements, her right foot lacking, front section of front of base a restored replacement)
