A Ludwigsburg rococo two-handled tureen, cover and stand
Circa 1750, blue crowned interlaced C marks, various incised and impressed marks
Each side of the lobed body with a central rococo scroll-moulded cartouche with a puce bouquet of flowers, flanked by puce flower-sprays, the foliage scroll-moulded handles terminating in four scroll feet, enriched with gilding, the domed cover with a naturally coloured vegetable finial, the stand similarly moulded with foliage scroll cartouches and handles, gilt line rims (slight restoration to finial, slight chips to handle, foot, finial, inside of cover, wear to gilding)
