A Meissen gold-mounted rectangular snuff-box Circa 1750, blue crossed swords mark to interior of back panel
Each facet painted with Holzschnitt Blumen and ombrierte insects within pale coloured scroll-moulded rococo cartouches, the interior of the cover with five Freemasons performing a ritual ceremony of initiation, the reeded gold mounts with shell and scroll thumbpiece (minute rubbing in places to enamels of cartouches of base and cover)
