Manuscript on polished cream paper, 330ff. with 12ll. of clear black naskh within gold rules with space left for Persian interlinear translation, largely incomplete, punctuation in red, gold roundels between verses, sura headings, fifth verse markers and other divisions written in gold muhaqqaq, opening gold and polychrome illuminated bifolio, final folio signed Muhammad b. 'Ali and dated AH 1152, largely clean, slight worm damage, in brown morocco binding with gold stamped medallions
