The curved watered steel double-edged tapering blade with medial ridge, the waisted oval section hilt carved leaving the design proud of the surface and subsequently gilded, each side with a panel of scrolling arabesques overlaying scrolling floral tendrils issuing from a central rosette, a band of floral meander above and below, the upper terminal with a large rosette flanked by arabesques
